McCallum's Perfection Bottled 1930s-1940s 5cl
A miniature bottle of McCallum's Perfection Scots Whisky, bottled by D & J McCallum. We estimate this was bottled in the 1930s to 1940s.
Please note, there is no size or ABV stated on the label.
This bottle is from a large collection of miniatures purchased by the seller at an auction in 1979. The collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and single malts bottled in the first half of the 20th century.
D & J McCallum was established by brothers and innkeepers Duncan and John McCallum in Edinburgh in 1807. The inn grew to a shop and warehouse and the company released the McCallum's Perfection blend in 1911. The original inn was destroyed in a bombing raid during World War I. The company became part of Distillers Company Limited in 1937, and the DCL-owned Cragganmore distillery was licenced to D & J McCallum.
