A miniature bottle of Grant's Best Procurable Scotch Whisky, bottled and guaranteed by William Grant & Sons Ltd., Distilleries The Glenfiddich and Balvenie-Glenlivet. We estimate this was bottled in the 1930s to 1940s.
The back label reads:
Wm. Grant & Sons Ltd. Distillers (Dufftown, Glenlivet District, Scotland) Glasgow and London. Guarantee that the Whisky made at their two Distilleries - the Glenfiddich Distillery and the Balvenie Glenlivet Distillery is produced from Pure Barley Malt Only, in Pot Stills, that every stage in the process of manufacture is under the Careful and Personal Supervision of a Fully Qualified Doctor. Our Brands, containing all the Malt they can carry, may therefore with confidence be particularly recommended for Medicinal Purposes and Family Use. The Distilleries are situated near Dufftown in the Glenlivet District, the premier locality for the manufacture of Highland Pure Malt Scotch Whisky.
Please note, there is no size or ABV stated on the label.
This bottle is from a large collection of miniatures purchased by the seller at an auction in 1979. The collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and single malts bottled in the first half of the 20th century.
