This bottle is from a large collection of miniatures purchased by the seller at an auction in 1979. The collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and single malts bottled in the first half of the 20th century.
Haig Gold Label was released in the late 19th century and by 1939 was the UK's best selling Scotch whisky brand. In 1971 Haig Gold Label became the first brand to sell over one million cases.
