Description

A miniature bottle of Finest Liqueur Scotch Whisky, sealed with a cork. This was bottled by The Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd. we estimate in the 1920s to 1930s.

Please note, there is no size stated on the labels.

This bottle is from a large collection of miniatures purchased by the seller at an auction in 1979. The collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and single malts bottled in the first half of the 20th century.

The Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd. was registered in 1890 as an amalgamation of several breweries in the midlands, owning a combined total of 193 public houses. The company continued to acquire other breweries throughout the 20th century, owning 1750 public houses by the year 2000. The group renamed itself Marstons PLC in 2007.
