A bottle of Warre's 1986 single quinta Vintage Port from Quinta Da Cavadinha. This was bottled in 1988 by Warre & Ca. S.A. Oporto, Portugal.
Founded in 1670, Warre's was the first British port company to be established in Portugal. The Warre’s name is synonymous with the history of the British in Porto, and William Warre fought as an officer in the Peninsular War against Napoleon under the Duke of Wellington, whom he also kept supplied with port. Now fully owned by the Symington group, Warre's stable mates include Graham's, Dow's and Cockburn's.
