A limited edition bottle of Talisker 20 Year Old. This was distilled in 1981, matured in sherry casks and bottled at cask strength in 2002 for Diageo's Special Releases.
This is bottle number 5496 of 9000.
Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. The capsule is slightly loose, but it appears to be secure.
