Description

A bottle of Aberlour Curling Club Centenary Blend Finest Scotch Whisky. This was blended and bottled by G. Malloch, The Dowans Hotel, Aberlour, Scotland. This blend was released to commemorate the Centenary of the Aberlour Curling Club in 1985. This was imported to Italy by Sestante.

Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming at the confluence of the rivers Spey and Lour, with St Drostan's Well as its water source. When journalist and distilling historian Alfred Barnard visited the distillery in the 1880s, he described it as 'the perfect modern distillery'. Today, Aberlour is owned by Chivas Brothers.
