A bottle of Cardhu 27 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky. This was distilled in 1973 and bottled in October 2000 for Diageo's Rare Malts Selection.

This is bottle number 0811.

Cardhu was founded in 1824 as a seasonal farm distillery by former whisky smuggler, John Cumming. Later the distillery was sold to Johnnie Walker and Sons.
