A bottle of Lagavulin 1986 that was bottled in 2002 for the Distillers Edition series. This bottling was finished in ex Pedro Ximinez sherry casks.

The Classic Malts of Scotland is a selection of six single malt whiskies first marketed together in 1988 by UDV (now owned by Diageo). Lagavulin represents the Islay region of Scotland.

Lagavulin distillery was founded on Islay's southern coast in 1816 and is famed for its rich, peaty whiskies.
