Description

A bottle of Balvenie 12 Year Old Single Barrel. This was matured for 12 years in a first fill ex-Bourbon barrel and bottled from cask number 1721.

This is bottle number 103 of 300.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor.

This Balvenie 12 Year Old Single Barrel sold at our online auction for £45

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the label. The capsule is slightly loose, but this appears to be secure.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
