Bonnet Marc Vieux De Champagne Bottled 1960s-1970s 78cl / 43%
A bottle of Marc Vieux de Champagne, produced by F Bonnet Père & Fils. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s to the 1970s.
Marc is a type of brandy produced by pressing the grape skins, seeds and pulp left over from wine production. This is then distilled and, in this case, aged in oak casks before bottling.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the label and capsule.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
