The Balvenie Peat Week and Peated Triple Cask kit, including three bottles of whisky, two sample bottles of peat from two different areas of Scotland, and a USB flash driver. The bottlings are the result of trials undertaken by The Balvenie’s Malt Master David Stewart MBE and Ian Millar, former distillery manager and current Prestige Whiskies Specialist at William Grant & Sons:

1 x Peat Week 2002, 14 Year Old, released for USA, UK, Denmark and Sweden in September 2017, 10cl, 48.3% ABV

1 x Double Wood 12 Year old, 10cl, 40% ABV

1 x Peated Triple Cask, matured in a combination of first fill bourbon, refill bourbon and sherry casks. This was released in June 2017, 10cl, 48.3% ABV

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor.
