Description

A miniature bottle of Balvenie 15 Year Old. This was distilled on 19 December 1974, matured in oak casks and bottled in July 1990 by Signatory Vintage.

This is bottle number 1240 of 2400; it was bottled from cask numbers 18103-18130.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor.
