A tongue-in-cheek bottle of Buffalo Bigle Whiskry, The Pain-killer of the Plains wacky water. The label reads: Best Ether for Man or Beast, Wild west Pottling Company, Coated Tongue, S Dacota. This was produced bottled by Par Beverage Corp, Cincinnati, Ohio.

We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.
This lot comes from the extensive collection of a Merseyside collector who began his hobby with bottles bought for guests as digestifs at private dinner parties in the early 1970s. His interest led to him advertising in the UK national newspapers, and buying and selling bottles as far afield as Australia, America and Ireland, with his last significant addition being a collection he purchased from Stoke On Trent in 1984.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels.
This is sold for historical interest rather than human consumption.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
