Kavalan Solist Vinho is aged in casks that previously held some of the world's best wines.

The white oak casks are air seasoned for two years before being handcrafted with a specially developed toasting and charring process in the distillery's own cooperage.

It was awarded a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2012 and world's best single malt whisky 2015 at Whisky Magazine's World Whiskies Awards.
