Macallan Private Eye & Raffles 2 x 70cl-75cl

This lot contains two bottles of The Macallan single malt Scotch whisky:

1 x The Macallan, released in 1996 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of satirical magazine Private Eye. This is a vatting of casks selected by whisky maker FA Newlands and includes a cask from 1961, the year Private Eye was founded.

The screen-printed label was designed by cartoonist Ralph Steadman who worked with the magazine in the past.

This is bottle number 2654 of 5000; it was bottled from cask number 1580.

1 x The Macallan, bottled for Raffles Hotel, Singapore.

The label reads: Malt Scotch Whiskies Selected by The Macallan Distillers Ltd., Craigellachie, Scotland. Distilled and Bottled in Scotland.
