A bottle of Domaines du Château de Beaune Marc de Bourgogne produced by Bouchard Père & Fils. This was bottled for the Italian market, we estimate in the late 1950s to 1960s.

Marc is a type of brandy produced by pressing the grape skins, seeds and pulp left over from wine production. This is then distilled and, in this case, aged in oak casks before bottling.
