Description

A bottle of Taupenot Merme Vieux Marc de Bourgogne. We estimate this was bottled in the late 1970s to early 1980s.

Marc is a type of brandy produced by pressing the grape skins, seeds and pulp left over from wine production. This is then distilled and, in this case, aged in oak casks before bottling.
