This lot contains two 37.5cl bottles of Huxelrebe 2003 Trockenbeerenauslese produced and bottled by Ferdinand Pieroth.
Trockenbeerenauslese is the highest in sugar content in the Prädikatswein category of the Austrian and German wine classifications, and is made from individually selected grapes affected by botrytis cinerea or 'noble rot'. This means that the grapes have been individually picked and are shrivelled, often to the point of appearing like a raisin, resulting in intensely sweet wine.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels and capsules.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
