Description

This lot contains two bottles of Huxelrebe 2001 Kallstadter Steinacker Beerenauslese produced and bottled by Ferdinand Pieroth.

Beerenauslese, meaning 'selected harvest of berries' is a German language wine term for a late harvest wine. It is a category in the Prädikatswein Austrian and German wine classification, and is usually produced from grapes affected by noble rot, or 'botrytis cinerea', which are selectively picked off individual bunches by hand.
