The domaine comprises of 31 hectares of vineyards across twenty appellations, half of which are Premiers and Grands Crus; it was created in 1928 in the town of Mercurey in the Côte Chalonnaise.

Les Perrières is a climat (or single vineyard plot) of the Corton Grand Cru appellation in the Côte de Beaune. It sits at an altitude of 270 metres, has a south-easterly exposure, and features brown and red clay soils full of pinkish round stones.
