Description

A bottle of 1982 Dom Pérignon vintage Champagne from Möet & Chandon. This was imported to Italy by Claretta & Co.

A blend of 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chardonnay. "...developed relatively slowly and has an even quality from bottle to bottle. The complex nose has a perfect balance between the Pinot and the Chardonnay. Exhaust fumes, mushroom cream, orchid and orange are some of the most obvious aromas in this medium-bodied Champagne." Richard Juhlin, April 1998

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the label and some damage to the capsule.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment.

As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
