Description

A bottle of Dewar's Ancestor blended Scotch whisky, sealed with a spring cap. This was bottled for the US market, and distributed by Schenley Import Corporation. We estimate this was bottled in the early 1950s.

The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to The Late King George VI.

Ancestor was one of the deluxe blends in Dewar's range, containing a fair proportion of long-aged whisky.
