A bottle of The General, a long-aged blended Scotch whisky from independent bottler Compass Box. This was bottled in 2013.
This expression is made from two parcels of whisky, both were vatted at a young age and matured in cask for 33 years or more before being sourced and blended by Compass Box.
This is bottle number 159 of 1698 bottles.
This bottle comes from the private collection of Martyn Boultwood, one of the original employees at Compass Box. His collection of Compass Box whiskies spans the history of the brand from the first bottling released in 2000 to more recent limited editions.
