Description

A bottle of Eleuthera All Malt Scotch Whisky. This was the first vatted malt to be released by Compass Box, it was bottled in May 2002.

The recipe is based on a combination of 15 year old malt whisky distilled near Brora (Clynelish) and 12 year old malt whisky distilled near Port Askaig (Caol Ila). Eleuthera was discontinued when the 15 year old malt was no longer available.

This bottle comes from the private collection of one of the original employees at Compass Box. His collection of Compass Box whiskies spans the history of the brand from the first bottling released in 2000 to more recent limited editions.

This Compass Box Eleuthera sold at our online auction for £675
