A bottle of Canadian Club 6 Year Old, produced and bottled by Hiram Walker & Sons Limited. The Canadian tax strip reads 1937. This indicates that the youngest whisky in the bottle was distilled in 1937.
The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to His Majesty King George VI.
The label reads: Matured in casks, in warehouse which are warmed during the cold season and bottled by The Distillers under Canadian Government supervision as indicated on the official Canadian Government stamp affixed over the capsule of every bottle.
Note that the genuine Canadian Government stamp is in bank note engraving.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
