Description

A bottle of 2009 Clos Jebsal Pinot Gris Vendange Tardive from Domaine Zind Humbrecht in Alsace.

The Jebsal vineyard has a microclimate and rich marl-gypsum soils which provide ideal conditions for Botrytis cinerea (or 'noble rot') to form, and the 2009 was a heavily botrytised wine, bottled with 90 grams per litre of residual sugar.
