This lot contains two bottles of sweet 'Passito' wine from Tuscany and the Southern Italian island of Pantelleria.

1 x Riecine Sebastiano 1999, produced in the Chianti district from organically-grown Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes which were either cane cut and left to dry on the vine (with harvest in December) or harvested by hand just before the estate's Sangiovese crop and left to dry and concentrate. The residual sugar level is something in the region of 200 grams per litre. 50cl, 12.5% ABV

1 x Pellegrino Passito Di Pantelleria 2008, produced from Zibibbo (Moscato) grapes grown on volcanic black lava rock situated off the arid Tunisian coast. It is made with 20% sun dried fruit which is fermented until the alcohol reaches 4 to 5% ABV, at which stage the fermentation is arrested with alcohol. 50cl, 15% ABV
