Description

A bottle of the Inaugural Batch of The Spice Tree Vatted Malt Scotch Whisky, produced by Compass Box. A portion of the whisky was matured in casks containing oak staves. The Scotch Whisky Association deemed this a violation of regulations and the whisky was discontinued in 2006.

This is one of 4150 bottles.

This bottle comes from the private collection of one of the original employees at Compass Box. His collection of Compass Box whiskies spans the history of the brand from the first bottling released in 2000 to more recent limited editions.
