Description

A bottle of 2005 Domaine des Sénéchaux Chateauneuf du Pape, from one of the oldest domaines in the Southern Rhône's most celebrated appellation. This was bottled for UK retailer Marks & Spencer.

'shows the classic concoction of garrigue, ground pepper, lavender, and plenty of kirsch. It is dense, full-bodied, and a very strong effort, with a bit more noticeable tannin and acidity than in the more opulent, fleshy 2006. Both are outstanding efforts. 90/100' Robert Parker
