Description

A bottle Crawford's Special Reserve Blended Old Scotch Whisky, sealed with a spring cap closure. This was produced by A & A CrawforD Ltd, we estimate in the 1950s to 1960s.

Archibald and Aikman Crawford was founded in Leith in 1860. At the turn of the century a new label was adopted for its Three Star which remained in use until at least the 1980s. A & A Crawford became a limited company in 1942, and was taken over by the DCL in 1944. It then became the license holder for Benrinnes distillery. In 1986, the Crawford brand was sold to Whyte & Mackay.

Please note there is no size stated on the labels.
