Description

This lot contains two bottles of Aberlour single malt Scotch whisky:

1 x Aberlour 1988, 5cl, 40% ABV

1 x Aberlour 1989, 5cl, 40% ABV

Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming at the confluence of the rivers Spey and Lour, with St Drostan's Well as its water source. When journalist and distilling historian Alfred Barnard visited the distillery in the 1880s, he described it as 'the perfect modern distillery'. Today, Aberlour is owned by Chivas Brothers.

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the boxes. These have been painted with varnish by a previous owner to prevent evaporation.
