Description

A bottle of Aberlour 100 Proof, bottled at 57.1% ABV. We estimate this was bottled in the 1990s.

Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming at the confluence of the rivers Spey and Lour, with St Drostan's Well as its water source. When journalist and distilling historian Alfred Barnard visited the distillery in the 1880s, he described it as 'the perfect modern distillery'. Today, Aberlour is owned by Chivas Brothers.
