A bottle of Dubonnet Wine Aperitif, a fortified wine flavoured with herbs, spices, and quinine. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s.
There is no size stated, but this appears to be a 100cl bottle.
Dubonnet was first sold by Joseph Dubonnet in response to a competition run by the French government who were looking for a way to encourage their Foreign Legion to drink quinine, a bitter substance used to combat malaria. Dubonnet was also known as the Queen Mother's favourite drink.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
