Description

A bottle of Avonside Glenlivet 33 Year Old. This was distilled in 1938, matured in sherry casks, and bottled by Avonside Whisky Ltd., Elgin. This was imported to Italy by Pinerolo.

Avonside Whisky was a subsidiary of Gordon & MacPhail. In the 1970s, Gordon & MacPhail bottled at 40% ABV. This higher proof edition was bottled for Edoardo Giaccone, once mentor to Silvano Samaroli. This bottling is attributed to single malt from the Glenlivet distillery.
