Description

A bottle of Red Tape Very Old Scotch Whisky, bottled by Baird Taylor Ltd., Glasgow, a firm of whisky merchants established in 1838 which became a subsidiary of DCL in 1935. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.

Please not there is no size or ABV stated on the labels.

This bottle is from a large collection built up during the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.

The New Zealand based collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and early Single Malt Scotch whiskies produced for export markets.

The bottles were inherited and conserved by the seller, the collector’s son.

This Red Tape sold at our online auction for £65
