Description

A bottle of Compass Box's 2015 release, This Is Not A Luxury Whisky, a blended whisky made with a large proportion of sherry cask matured Glen Ord.

The name is a reference to Rene Magritte's 1929 surrealist work, 'Ceci n'est pas une pipe' ('This is not a pipe'). In this painting, an image of a pipe is accompanied with the text, challenging the audience's perception of reality. With This Is Not A Luxury Whisky, Compass Box attempt to do the same.
