Description

A bottle of Benmore Blended Scotch whisky, sealed with a spring cap closure. This was blended and bottled by Benmore Distilleries Ltd., proprietors of the now-closed Dallas Dhu distillery in Forres. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.

This bottle is from a large collection built up during the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.

The New Zealand based collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and early Single Malt Scotch whiskies produced for export markets.

The bottles were inherited and conserved by the seller, the collector’s son.
