A bottle of Foursquare Principia 9 Year Old Single Blended rum from Barbados. This rum was distilled in 2008, matured in two types of cask, spending three years in ex-bourbon barrels, and six years in ex-sherry casks, before blending and bottling in November 2017 by Velier.

This is one of 5400 bottles.

RL Seale & Company, the founder of Foursquare distillery, was established in 1920 in Barbados. Today the company and distillery are still under family ownership. Foursquare is known for its experimentation, using both pot and column stills for distillation, and a variety of cask types, including sherry, port, Madeira and Zinfandel, for maturation.
