Description

A bottle of 'Y' (or 'Ygrec') the powerful, dry white wine produced by Chateau D'Yquem.

'Y' is only produced when conditions in the vineyard are challenging: bunches are picked to enable the remaining bunches to concentrate and profit from a greater infection of botrytis cinerea, or 'noble rot' for the fabled sweet wine. The 1960 was matured for 36 months in 100% new oak.
