Description

A bottle of Kerner Beerenauslese Niersteiner Paterberg 1976 Weingut Strub, a dessert wine from the Rheinhessen in Germany.

Kerner is an aromatic white grape variety bred in 1926 by crossing Trollinger, a red variety, with Riesling. Kerner was named after nineteenth century poet Justinus Kerner, whose works included songs and poetry on the subject of wine.
