Blended Whisky Auction

Description

A bottle of Sandy MacDonald Special blended Scotch whisky, produced and bottled by MacDonald Greenlees Ltd and sealed with a spring cap closure. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s.

The label states: Pure Malt Distillery, Glendullan Glenlivet, Dufftown.

Please note there is no size or ABV stated on the labels.

This bottle is from a large collection built up during the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.

The New Zealand based collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and early Single Malt Scotch whiskies produced for export markets.

The bottles were inherited and conserved by the seller, the collector’s son.

This Sandy MacDonald Spring Cap sold at our online auction for £250
