Description

A bottle of DCL Extra Special Scotch whisky, matured in sherry casks. This was blended and bottled by The Distillers Agency Limited. We estimate this was bottled in the early 1950s.

Please note there is no size or ABV stated on the label.

This bottle is from a large collection built up during the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.

The New Zealand based collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and early Single Malt Scotch whiskies produced for export markets.

The bottles were inherited and conserved by the seller, the collector’s son.

This DCL Extra Special sold at our online auction for £460
