Description

A bottle of Glenfiddich 8 Year Old Straight Malt, produced by William Grant & Sons Ltd. This was one of the first single malts to be marketed as such, at a time when the whisky market was dominated by blends. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s.

This bottle is from a large collection built up during the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.

The New Zealand based collection is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies and early Single Malt Scotch whiskies produced for export markets.

The bottles were inherited and conserved by the seller, the collector’s son.
