Description

A bottle of Hine 1914 Grande Champagne Cognac. This was matured in small oak casks until 1958, when it had reached its peak maturity. It was then transferred to glass demijohns until it was bottled in 1987.

The 1914 vintage in Cognac is often referred to as the 'Ladies' Vintage', as the outbreak of World War I meant that the harvest and distillation was undertaken by women.
