Description

A bottle of Ardbeg Committee Reserve, a special bottling released in 2002 for members of the distillery's fan club. This is a vatting of whiskies distilled in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, and is bottled at cask strength.

The back label reads: Chairman's Note - Committee Rules and Regulations Section 2 - 6. Moreover members are expected to actively pursue a serious and altruistic duty: to bring others into the Ardbeg fold. The result of the collective effect of this is to increase the worldwide consumption, thereby ensuring that the doors of the Ardbeg distillery shall never close again.

This Ardbeg Committee Reserve sold at our online auction for £470
