Description

A bottle of Hankey Bannister 12 Year Old blended Scotch whisky. This was imported to the Italian market. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to The Late King George VI.

Hankey Bannister was a spirits merchant established in London in 1757. It moved to Sackville Street in 1915, where it remained until the 1930s. Its whiskies were favoured by King George V, who awarded the company a royal warrant. In 1932, the company was purchased by Saccone & Speed, a company with historic links to the Crown and British military.
