A bottle of 1971 Belle Epoque, Perrier-Jouët's prestige cuvée Champagne, presented in a hand-painted 'flower' bottle. The 1971 is a blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier and 50% Chardonnay.

As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker. This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.
