Balvenie 1996 Craftsman's Reserve The Cooper - 15 Year Old 70cl / 59.4%

A bottle of The Balvenie 15 Year Old, the first release in the Craftsman's Reserve series which celebrates the traditional crafts of whisky making. This was distilled in 1996, matured in two European sherry oak casks and bottled at cask strength.

This edition honours the Cooper and comes with an A2 poster showing an exploded view of a cask.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor.

This Balvenie 1996 Craftsman's Reserve sold at our online auction for £525
