A bottle of Château de Fontainebleau 1811 Caves de l'Empereur Cognac. We estimate this was bottled in the 1930s.
This is sealed with a cork and foil capsule. The label is missing, but the following text is visible on the capsule:

The shoulder is embossed with an 'N' and a crown.
Château de Fontainebleau is located 55km south of Paris and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The medieval castle and subsequent palace served as a residence for the French monarchs from Louis VII through to Napoleon III, the first elected president of France.
